Hank in Scotland

Army of Dads Founder and CEO

Hank Stewart is a Dad. He and his wife have two beautiful, amazing, maddening sons: Older One, age 24; and Younger One, age 14. They are the primary motivating force behind everything he does.

Professionally, Hank has spent three decades working in the advertising/marketing industry in New York City. Over the course of that time, Hank has built a career as award-winning copywriter, creative director and brand strategist at numerous New York ad agencies. His client experience includes multi-national corporations (Johnson & Johnson, Mars, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Volvo); smaller, mission brands (KIND Snacks, Lindblad Expeditions); tourism destinations (Aruba, Dominica, Ecuador, Scotland), non-profits (Ballet Hispanico, Conservation International, NRDC, Rainforest Alliance) and more.

Hank is a member of his town's Zoning Board of Appeals, Board Member of the National Coalition For A Drug-free Home, former volunteer firefighter (19 years), former Little League coach, stand-up comic and award-winning beer writer who enjoys long walks on the beach and referring to himself in the third person.

When Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, a Dad himself, landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the middle of the Hudson River, cooly saving the lives of the 155 people onboard, he later said he felt as if everything he had ever learned or experienced was leading him up to that moment. That's how Hank feels about Army of Dads.
